  Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg (Swedish pronunciation (listen) 29 September 1931 11 January 2015) was an Swedish actress in American and European films, known for her beautiful and stunning silhouette. Nicole Scherzinger, born June 29th, 1978 in Honolulu, was raised in Louisville. At a high school that was a performing arts institution, she won The Coca-Cola Classic Talent Contest and performed in numerous plays at The Actors Theatre of Louisville. After graduating from Wright State University, she continued her studies in theatre arts. She was later invited to be part of the first season of WB's TV show Popstars (2000). In the show she was the lead singer in Eden's Crush, a female pop band.
