Annie Wersching Bio

 Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actress known for her performance as Renee Walker in the American television series 24 as well as for her voice work and motion capture for the character of Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated in 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. She competed in Irish dance during her youth and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching started her acting career by appearing as an extra on Star Trek: Enterprise. She then went on to be a guest star on shows like Charmed Killer Instinct, Charmed, and Supernatural. From March 2007 until November 2007 she played playing the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap drama General Hospital. She has also been in theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In 2014, she was the regular series star for Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching was the National League's catcher on 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed that Wersching played the voice actor as well as the mo-cap actor Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character via Twitter before her appearance in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer, which was shown on the 7th of December on the 7th of December. Wersching is set to play the role of the Borg queen in the Star Trek the second season of Picard, which will premiere in September 2021.
