Gillian MacLaren Jacobs born October 19, 1982 , is an American actress. Britta Perry, a comedian on NBC is well-known for her roles in the Netflix series Love (2016-2018), Mickey Dobbs on Netflix's romantic comedy series Love (2016-2018) or Atom Eve on Invincible (2021). Mimi-Rose Howard was her regular role in the fourth season of the HBO comedy-drama Girls (2012-2017). She has also appeared in films like Life Partners (2014), Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (2015) and Don't Think Twice (2016). Gillian MacLaren Jacobs was conceived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 19th in 1982. Martina Magenau Jacobs her mother works in alumni relations at Carnegie Mellon University. William F. Jacobs Jr. was an investor banker. The death of her father occurred in the year 2013. Her mother raised her in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Her family was the owners of the Erie Brewing Company (not to be confused with the subsequent brewery with the identical name) in which her grandfather, John Martin Magenau Jr., served as the president and CEO until the company closed in 1978.Jacobs started studying acting at age four and was a student in weekend classes at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up. She was a regular performer at the Pittsburgh Public Theater. This led to her being cast in Titania's production A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mt. After graduation from Lebanon High School in 2000 she moved to New York City to study at the Juilliard School. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
