Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie, born December 10, 1987, is an American journalist and sports presenter. She is employed by the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter and presents in their daily news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first drawn to stock car racing after she was given a pit lane pass. After having graduated from Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. Vincie's own NASCAR video blogs were published on SceneDaily the website that tracks stock cars. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family relocated to Warrenton in the year Vincie had started high school. Vincie is the daughter of John and Margaret Vincie and has a younger sister. Vincie's mother Eleanor N. Logan was an educator in the fifth grade while her grandfather was on faculty of Bridgewater College. Vincie was fascinated by journalism from a young age. Vincie graduated from Fauquier High School in 2006. Vincie participated in track and field competitions as well as was the manager of the school’s wrestling team for four years. She clinched victory in the 800 meters event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored and gave Vincie a lot of information. Vincie graduated with a bachelor's from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie was an intern for the university's Athletics Department. Vincie also held a similar role at the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. Vincie wrote her senior dissertation about auto racing gender disparity which focused on Danica Patrick, a female race car driver. Vincie became interested in racing after she received the pit lane entry pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences are Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
