Los Angeles in 1970. Shortly after her birth, her parents relocated to Dallas,
Texas. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Performing and
Visual Arts situated in the Arts District. She received her BFA in acting at
Stephens College, and also studied at British American Drama Academy. She spent
six years at Dallas Theatre Center as well as a single year with Encore
Company. Before she made her big screen debut, she began her acting career in
the theater. Her theatrical credits include "As You Like It" and the
"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" as well as the
"Measure for Measure", the "Baby" and the
"Chicago" productions, in addition to others. She was the standout
actor in Michael Cristofer's HBO telefilm Gia (1998) in which she played
opposite Angelina Jolie. This performance was a hit with both the public and
critics alike. Elizabeth displayed her charismatic acting talent in the film
Frequency (2001 featuring Dennis Quaid) and Neil LaBute’s sci-fi time travel
adventure Nurse Betty ((2000) with Rene Zellweger). Elizabeth Mitchell is an
actor who has a long list of credits, including TV series, movies and theaters.

Texas. The school graduated Stephens College in 1991 with a Fine Arts Degree.
The latter part of 2001 was spent as Cyd, a character opposite Ioan Gruffudd.
