Rena Sherel SOFER
Rena Sherel Sfer is an American actress.
She is most well-known for her performances on American daytime TV, guests on
shows that are episodic and made-for-television movies. In 1995, Sofer received
a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap drama
General Hospital. Quinn Fuller has been her role on CBS's soap opera The Bold
and The Beautiful since 2013. Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) to Susan
Sofer and Martin Sofer. Martin Sofer is a Conservative Rabbi. Her family later relocated
to Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. Sofer later moved together with her father David
Sofer, to Teaneck, New Jersey in 1970. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania
as a child. They lived in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father ran the Beth
Samuels Jewish Center. In the following years, she attended the Frisch School
in Paramus, New Jersey, which is co-educational Mordern Orthodox Jewish
high-school. Sofer lived in North Bergen, New Jersey which was where her father
served as Rabbi of the synagogue Temple Beth El. After finishing her studies at
North Bergen High School in 1998, she pursued her studies at Montclair State
College. Sofer was the first woman to perform as Lois Marie Cerullo at General
Hospital. Her first appearance was in 1993 as a manager of a band. But her
first big part was as Rocky McKenzie in the daytime soap drama Loving
(1988-91). One of her most well-known roles is that of Lois Cerullo, a nurse on
General Hospital from December 15, 1993 to September 24 1997. She was later
guest actor (February 7-17 September 30, 1997 September 30 - October 2 1997).
The role she played as the sexy Lois has earned Sofer an award in the form of a
Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Sofer
was invited to join CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful in the new role
in the role of Quinn Fuller. Her first episode aired July 12. Sofer has
appeared in several popular prime-time television shows as a guest-star or
supporting cast member role: Seinfeld, Melrose Place, The Chronicle, Ed,
Friends, Spin City, Blind Justice, Ghost Whisperer, 24, NCIS, and Two and a
Half Men.
