Robin Gayle
Robin Gayle Wright was born to Gayle
(Gaston) who was the national Director of Mary Kay and Freddie Wright. She was
born in San Diego. When she was 14 years old, she began her professional life
in modeling. She was a model in Paris and Japan. She made the decision to
become an actress after she had graduated from high school. She was cast in the
soap opera Santa Barbara (1984), in which she was nominated three more times
for Daytime Emmys. She discovered her love for Dane Witherspoon during the
first season. They were married in the year 1986. In 1987, she was the role of
the title character in The Princess Bride. After leaving the cast of Santa
Barbara, she got the starring role in Denial (1990) alongside Jason Patric. She
became acquainted with Sean Penn in 1990 while she was appearing in State of
Grace (1990). They had a daughter Dylan Frances with him and the son was named
Hopper Jack. Robin came back to Hollywood after a hiatus with one of her most
famous parts: Tara in The Playboys (1992). She was a stunning actress and was a
fantastic actor. She was a star in Toys (1992) which was a comedy with Robin
Williams. It was an extremely entertaining performance. In 1994, Wright was in
the blockbuster sensation Forrest Gump (1994), together with Tom Hanks. Wright
was nominated for the Golden Globe Award in recognition of her performance as
Jenny. She was given a small part in The Crossing Guard (1995) which starred
Jack Nicholson. After turning down 14 roles, she played the title character of
MGM/UA's Moll Flanders (1996), directed by Pen Densham, and co-starring Morgan
Freeman and Stockard Channing. Then, she starred in Erin Dignam's Loved (1997),
with William Hurt.
